General Comments by vendor
Verity is a very reliable, well looked after boat. Owners are welcome to carry out any DIY work which they are capable of doing in order to keep maintenance cost down.
The internal appearance is enhanced by wall coverings, carpet below the gunwales and wall covering above. The ceiling is finished in timber panels and the floor is carpeted throughout except the galley area and rear cabin aft of the bed.
We usually stay at a mooring location for two years and then move on. This enables a much greater opportunity to explore more of the canal system. This year we have moved to Ventnor Farm Marina in Warwickshire following several years moored in Staffordshire.
Verity is a former Challenger boat which is now self-managed. Any surplus from the annual running costs is ring-fenced to cover major expenditure. The syndicate appoints Chair, Secretary and Treasurer at the AGM, whilst other syndicate members take responsibility to find new mooring venues. The syndicate members are friendly and get on well with each other
