General comments about the boat |
Pineapple was built in 2001 to
personal specifications and had one owner until 2005. She is a very
comfortable boat and comes fully furnished, including a very
efficient wood/coal stove, diesel powered central heating, a
generator, shore power socket and inverter. She was repainted 2008
and re-blacked 2011.
The lounge area seating has space for five and the sofa easily
converts into a double bed once the dining table is stowed away. The
lounge also has a ‘Carabo’ stove, CD player and mains lighting.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 12v fridge, LPG cooker with 4
burner hob, grill and oven, stainless steel sink and a full
inventory of crockery and utensils. The kitchen also has side doors
for extra light.
The bathroom has a hip bath/shower unit, hand basin and chemical
toilet.
The aft cabin has 2 single berths that can be made into a double
bed. There is also a wardrobe, an airing cupboard and reading
lights.
There is also a covered cratch area. |

General Comments by vendor
|
Most of our sharers have been involved with Pineapple for
over 10 years and I have owned the boat since she was built
15 years ago.
Many of the sharers are retired and we also now have young
families due to Grandchildren.
The boat accommodates all the generations and in all the
seasons as we have a multi fuel stove for those winter days.
Some sharers are actively involved in maintenance work but
others just have holidays .... we are happy for future
sharers to join our family and join in as much as they can
to enjoy NB Pineapple for future years to come. We are
selling an 8th share but would consider 2 x 16th
We have an account that
this is paid in to each month and the current owner
continues to pay this contribution until share is sold.
We hold 2 management
meetings per year usually in Oct/Nov and March/April.
We have a kitty on the
boat for sundries/ gas which is currently £10 a week.
We have a system on boat
and kitty for collecting and purchasing diesel for
propulsion and heating.
