|Booking System||One of the
shareholders takes responsibility for allocating each shareholder
one week in turn throughout the season.
As part of that process, before the season shareholders are usually asked if they want particular weeks, and the final allocation is distributed to all shareholders on a spreadsheet.
But you cannot request two weeks together, so you would have to negotiate that with the person who is allocated the other week(s) you want.
That all sounds very formal, but in practice we are all very accommodating for other shareholders needs or preferences.
|Priority for school holidays||None|
|General comments about the boat|
The boat is a cruiser-stern style, with a rear deck large enough for a small table and chairs (when not cruising!).
Then steps down to the galley, with sink, cupboards, gas oven/hob, and gas water heater supplying the sink, shower and wash-hand basin, then on to a small dining area where the 4-seater table converts to a double bunk.
On to the middle of the boat where there are four single bunks, loo & shower and another small convertible double bunk at the bow.
In the main cabin there is a wood-burning stove, plus a gas room-heater, and gas water-heater.
The boat is fully compliant with all the necessary regulations, and is well maintained.

General Comments by vendor
We are a friendly bunch, mostly in our 50's and 60's, who get together 2 or 3 times a year, not only to "pitch-in" on maintenance works (we have a "working weekend" each year, where we get together to do the non-specialist work such as cleaning/painting/minor maintenance), but we have an annual "committee" meeting at somebody's house to discuss and agree the plans/routes for the following year, plus a group social evening in a restaurant or at somebody's house at the end of the season.
The stated monthly cost of £50 covers most routine costs. Exceptional costs occasionally needed to top-up the kitty, but we have recently done a lot of maintenance and upgrading, paid for by the current owners, and we are not expecting any surprises.
